As General Counsel, Joi Philpott is responsible for all legal matters pertaining to AstroTurf®. Joi is an accomplished legal professional with over 15 years of experience providing legal advice and strategic counsel in general corporate law and commercial transactions as well as regulatory, compliance, and government relations. Joi has demonstrated expertise in shaping legal and compliance initiatives for Fortune 500 and privately-owned companies on a local, state and national scale. Prior to joining AstroTurf Joi served as in-house counsel in the telecommunications, cable, government, and financial services industries.

Joi Philpott holds a JD and MBA from the American University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Science from Hampton University, Hampton, VA. She completed an Executive Education Program at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
