Jeff Raiger, Director of Sales – Southwest
Jeff Raiger has spent his entire career in the sales, marketing and brand development arena. Before joining us in 2006, Jeff enjoyed a diverse mixture of both entrepreneurial and corporate management positions. He previously served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Ashworth, Inc. a $150 million publicly traded international apparel company. During his tenure there, Jeff and his team re-crafted the brand restoring it to the position as a market leader while delivering unprecedented growth and profitability. Prior to that, Jeff also held a senior management position at Reebok where he oversaw a region with 17 salespeople and key account responsibility that resulted in record profitable growth year after year. Also within the sports industry, he developed and managed a new business unit at adidas Golf that contributed to that brands rise to prominence within the golf marketplace. Jeff also has founded, developed, managed and sold 3 successful start-up companies over the years. He considers integrity, a customer focused culture, empowering best of breed talent, effective communications and grace as the key attributes necessary for sustainable business success. He credits his late father as his personal and professional role model who instilled these core values from an early age.
Since joining AstroTurf®, Jeff has pioneered the development of the company’s initiatives in the Western US. He has cultivated key relationships throughout the region with end users, architects, engineers, governmental agencies, and strategic partners. Additionally, he has identified key team members to join the AstroTurf® family in rounding out our efforts in the west.
Mr. Raiger is a native of Youngstown, Ohio where he was raised and educated. Jeff is most grateful for his education at Ursuline High School. While there he lettered in Basketball and Golf where the Irish won back to back state titles. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Youngstown State University with a minor in Marketing Management. He currently resides in the San Diego, CA area and is the proud father of two children.
